descant recorder after R. Haka
| descant recorder after R. Haka |
This little, very elegantly shaped instrument, made from ebony and finished with ivory rings is from the famous collection of F. Brüggen. I like its nice warm, and extremely rich tone very much. It is always briljant and warm but never too edgy. Also in its design it is a very special personality. The recorder distinguishes itself by its fast speech, a clear and elegant tone, rich in harmonics, with a nice warm character throughout its entire range. The instrument consists of two parts, and is tuned to 415 Hertz, with double bored toneholes, and modern English fingering. Only on special request we make an exact copy, with a pitch of 415 Hertz, single holes, with historical fingering. At a small extra cost it is also possible to make a three part instrument. |
