Tenor Blockflöten
Wick tenor recorder
| Wick tenor recorder |
| I have studied many good original tenor recorders (like Rottenburgh, Denner and Schell). I decided to make one of myself to complete my collection of self designed instruments. The inside of the flute could be called typically baroque. The outside is baroque inspired but more compact and angular, which is far more easier to turn and makes its price very attractive. This tenor recorder has a beautiful warm and rich sound. It even has a quick and easy speech in the highest register. It is very suited to play solo as well as in ensembles. Despite of its length the tone holes are placed in a way that they can easily be reached even by people with small hands. The recorder is tuned at a = 440 hertz. It has double bored tone holes without keys and a modern English fingering. |
